Ecclesia seal their third SDFPL division one title as they drew with Swallownest Bethesda 1-1 at the Miners Welfare.
The result means both are level on 45 points but Ecclesia have the better goal average.
Ecclesia went into a 1-0 lead but with 5 mins to go it was game on as Bethesda equalised.
A frantic last few mins could not see the home side get the goal they needed and Ecclesia held on to lift the title.
It's been a fantastic campaign for Ecclesia and they hold the driving seat as they look to secure their first league and cup double next week at Bramall Lane.
Congratulations to "Midge" Matthews, Nick Goulding and the rest of the Ecclesia team on their achievement.

The former champions Swallownest will want to quickly put this behind them as they look for a quick response next week at Bramall Lane as they seek a sixth SDFPL cup title.

The leagues two most successful teams will play at Bramall Lane on May 10th in the SDFPL Cup Final.
It will be the fourth time in the leagues history that the two clubs have competed in the final of the tournament and so far it's 3-0 to Bethesda.
The two clubs will be on familiar ground though as one of their previous finals was at Sheffield United's home ground when Bethesda won the contest 5-3
